MONARCH DRUMS SUPPORT FOR REPS. CANDIDATE

The Oluoke of Okeigbo Kingdom, Oba Bamigbala 1, Babajide Lawrence Oluwole has drummed support for Hon. Folagbade Gbemibade who is contesting for the House of Representatives seat for Ile-oluji/Okeigbo,Odigbo federal constituency. The monarch said during the visit of Gbemibade to his palace that it was the turn of Okeigbo to produce the next House of Representatives member for the federal constituency.

The monarch urged all sons and daughters of Okeigbo in other political parties to close ranks and work for the development of the town. He also assured the candidate that he and his chiefs would work for his success in the general elections. Oba Bamigbala also prayed for him and assured him that spirits of their ancestors would support him in his political quest to win election into the House of Representatives. The monarch further implored him not to forget Okeigbo if elected into the green chamber.

Hon. Gbemibade is contesting on the platform of People Redemption Party (PRP) in the 2019 general elections and hails from indigene of Okeigbo.

Responding, the former local government Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo as well as a former member of Ondo State House of Assembly, promised to offer quality representation and champion the cause of the federal constituency and Okeigbo in particular if elected.

He added that he would facilitate the repair of the federal roads in Okeigbo which leads to Osun state and to also push for the creation of Okeigbo local government areas if given the opportunity to serve the people of the constituency, added that he would facilitate job opportunities for the youth of the town if elected in the general elections.
