The Chairman ,Christians Association of Nigeria,CAN in Ondo State, Rev. John Oladapo has urged fathers to be good stewards in their respective homes in providing qualitative leadership to their wives and Children.
He also felicitated with Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his deputy , Hon. Agboola Ajayi on the commemoration of this year’s Fathers’ day.
In a statement on Sunday , the CAN Chairman urged fathers to shun child abuse and domestic violence of all kinds.
Rev Oladapo said “I rejoice with all our fathers on this special day set apart to celebrate fatherhood.
I pray that the Lord God Almighty will continue to be with you, keep you safe, grant you long life in good health and provide for your needs as you provide leadership to your home as a Priest, Prophet, Protector, Provider and preserver of godly heritage.
May you all never be absent fathers in your homes in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
I specially greet the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN on this Occasion as the first father in the state and his deputy, Hon. Alfred Agboola Ajayi, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Prophet Bamidele Oleyelogun and all the Spiritual leaders in the state on this special occasion to celebrate fatherhood.
Permit me to use this occasion to challenge all our men to be good steward of the grace of God in their respective homes in providing qualitative leadership to their wives and Children.
Let us provide good and sound moral to our children, ensure that they are well trained in both spiritual and western education, we must shun child abuse and domestic violence of all kinds.
Show love to your wife and children, help them to grow in grace and the wisdom of God so that the social vices we see in the society will be reduced
My prayer is that we shall all live long to enjoy the fruits of our labour in Jesus name. ” Oladapo said.
