Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state has appealed to the management of Federal Teaching Hospital Ido Ekiti to employ more qualified natives into the services of the health institution for effective health care delivery.
The Governor made the appeal on Tuesday in Ado Ekiti while playing host to the management and members of the Governing board of the hospital.
Dr. Fayemi noted that Ekiti had qualified sons and daughters with medical experiences who could offer their services to make the teaching hospital meet the increasing demands of the people
The Governor also told the management of the hospital to assist by making available Consultants to provide services in government comprehensive health centres to ensure improved health care delivery..
He Promised government assistance for the teaching hospital to make it more responsive and effective particularly in the area of community outreach programme.
In a remark ,the chairman,Governing board of the federal Teaching Hospital IDo Ekiti, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Sukababa solicited the assistance of government in the areas of operational vehicles and construction of access road to the hospital.
Also, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital Professor Kunle Ajayi assured the people of provision of Qualitative Health Services to the public .
